Dear Friends,

I am very happy to announce that the Imperial College Buddhist Society
has invited Ajahn Khemadhammo (Luangpor or Phra as many would honour
him as) to give us a talk on 'Suffering and the stopping of Suffering'.
Ajahn Khemadhammo was born in England. After training and practising as
a professional actor for some years, in 1971 he travelled to Thailand
via the Buddhist holy places in India. In December 1971 in Bangkok, he
became a novice monk and about a month later moved to Ubon to stay with
Ajahn Chah at Wat Nong Pah Pong. Ajahn Khemadhammo was appointed an OBE
( Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in the
Queen's Birthday Honours, June 2003 for 'services to prisoners'.

fundamental teachings of the Buddha (Suffering and the ending of
Suffering) and to deepen your understanding in life and human nature
from a phenomenal Theravada Buddhist Teacher.
