dear all,

i just tried printed the posters in A4 laser colour
copy and they looked fantastic! -even with the current
low resolution. the smallest wordings are quite
readable as well :)

so ppl, u can start printing them off now in colour A4
size! do check the paper margins first b4 u print as i
stretch them to the maximum

think A4 will do for most colleges (and maybe chinese
restaurants? )as it is cheap& convenient for everone
to print.

dear SF& KC& Vincent,

also, we need urgent advice on the BIG posters so that
we can start printing at reprographic unit tomoro if
not this evening. Caroline from QM has kindly promised
to help us out with that:

- what size? A3? as i design the poster to be roughly
A4 dimensions, will A3 size distort the poster?
- where do we need them? e.g. the venue itself on
that day, where else?
- how many copies of BIG poster?

dear Caroline,

thanks soo much for your generosity to help do the
poster printing! i just called the QM repro ppl up n
below is the rate:

A4 colour - 40 pence (less than 20 copies); 25pence
(more than 20 copies)
A3 colour - 60 pence (less than 10 copies); 40 pence(
more than 20 copies)
not sure about other size, their no. is 0207 8823 089
in case u need it.

things to check with them b4 printing:

-paper margin (please use the jpeg version, not the
word doc for size bigger than A4)& d proportion of
picture (distorted?)

-thickness of paper, do request if u can get thicker
A3 paper e.g. 150 or 200gm so that big papers wont
crumple that easily. think they are the same price.

i hereby attach the poster in word document (in
landscape page setup already) for those who want to
print A4 size.

also pls find attached higher resolution version if u
are printing a larger size e.g. A3?

happy printing, any prob pray lemme know.
