[Volunteers] IMPORTANT FOR ALL - Visit of Ven Wu Shin this weekend and meeting

Dear all,

 

Please be advised that Ven Wu Shin will come to visit us (and give us some moral boost) this week.  He will arrive this Thursday and leave on Sunday before noon.

 

We are now 15 days away from the actual events so it is extremely important for all committee members to meet up this Friday 29 Sept, report progress to each other, and make decisions in Ven Wu Shin's presence.  I suggest we meet at Mr Kong, Chinatown over dinner (6.30pm).  The cost per head is envisaged to be £10-12 and hope this would not be a huge burden for you.

 

On Saturday 30 Sept, we also need to have a meeting for all volunteers (hence many of us too) involved in the actual events for a briefing.  I suggest 3pm and conclude the meeting before 5pm.  Time is an essence so could I ask everyone to be punctual?  Can ULUBUDA get a room?  Of not can we use the office of Katherine's uncle, which is located at Swiss Cottage?  We will confirm the venue ASAP.  Also the decoration group (Anne, Margaret and others) will need a hand to prepare the banner so hopefully we can give them a hand too after the meeting.

 

Also I have not got all the committee members to sign up as volunteers yet on the days.  Can you please act now?
